This landscape scene is inspired by a weekend break to the beautiful Gower, in South Wales
A mix of fabrics in shades of green, ivory and blue, have been layered to mimic the beautiful landscape. Two fluffy clouds have been created using yarn in the deep blue sky. Embellishments including shells, beads and a beaded chain have been hand embroidered on to the fabrics. Yellow and green stitching creates the illusion of flowers on the cliff’s edge.
This design is framed in a 4” wooden hoop, which has been hand stained in an oak finish.
The back of this hoop is covered so the stitches are not visible. The edges have been glued down to fix them to the hoop. This embroidery is not designed to be taken out of the hoop. This hoop can be hung on a wall or also looks just as pretty propped up on a shelf.
