This adorable little cloud is inspired by treasures found on a beach, and long walks along the Welsh coast.
The cloud itself is hand embroidered onto a deep blue fabric, using a mix of ivory coloured pearl beads. The blue beads interspersed within the cloud, and dangling below, are recycled from old jewellery. ‘Rain drops’ have been hand embroidered falling from the cloud, using a mix of ivory and iridescent embroidery floss.
This design is framed in a 3” wooden hoop, which has been hand stained in a teak shade.
The back of this hoop is covered so the stitches are not visible. The edges have been glued down to fix them to the hoop. This embroidery is not designed to be taken out of the hoop. This hoop can be hung on a wall or also looks just as pretty propped up on a shelf.
