This eerie little spiderweb has been hand embroidered in a deep purple and black colour scheme. A metallic embroidery floss has been used, onto a black cotton. A metal spider, with a purple stone for the body has been hand embroidered onto the web. This design has been framed in a wooden oval embroidery hoop, measuring approximately 6×4”. The hoop has been hand painted black.
The back of this hoop is covered so the stitches are not visible. The edges have been glued down to fix them to the hoop. This embroidery is not designed to be taken out of the hoop. This hoop can be hung on a wall or also looks just as pretty propped up on a shelf.
