This landscape is a total dreamscape. Autumn on Mars, maybe?
A mix of fabrics have been used to create the landscape. Each section has been hand embroidered with metallic embroidery floss. Three gold fir trees stand on the right side of the oval hoop. Bright pink dried flowers have been hand embroidered onto the foreground of the hoop. A fluffy cloud, created with yarn french knots, sits. in the sky, with metallic sunbeams poking out from below.
This design is framed in a 6×4” wooden hoop, which has been hand painted gold.
The back of this hoop is covered so the stitches are not visible. The edges have been glued down to fix them to the hoop. This embroidery is not designed to be taken out of the hoop. This hoop can be hung on a wall or also looks just as pretty propped up on a shelf.
