A mix of fabrics have been used to create the illusions of hills and cliffs - then hand embroidered with metallic embroidery floss in shades of copper and gold. Dried flowers have been hand embroidered on the right side of the hoop, extending right to the edge. A fluffy cloud has been hand embroidered in the sky, made from yarn french knots. Metallic sunrays poke from the top of the cloud.
This design is framed in a 4” wooden hoop, which has been hand stained in a maple finish.
The back of this hoop is covered so the stitches are not visible. The edges have been glued down to fix them to the hoop. This embroidery is not designed to be taken out of the hoop. This hoop can be hung on a wall or also looks just as pretty propped up on a shelf.
